Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Kingdoms collects when you play, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and try to avoid legal jargon.
1. What we collect
Account data
- Email address (for sign-in and account recovery).
- Username, avatar and any profile info you set.
- Password — stored as a one-way hash by our auth provider; we never see the plaintext.
Gameplay data
- Your village, resources, buildings, troops, hero, quests, alliance membership, messages you send in-game.
- Purchases and gold transactions you make in the Gold Shop.
- Support tickets and messages you send us.
Technical data
- Basic request metadata such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps — used to run the service, prevent abuse and debug errors.
2. How we use it
- To run the Game — save your progress, sync your village, deliver messages.
- To keep the Game fair — detect cheating, botting and abuse.
- To reply to your support requests.
- To improve the Game and fix bugs.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not run ad-tracking on players.
3. Who sees your data
- Other players can see public gameplay info: your username, avatar, ranking, alliance, village name, in-game messages you send them, and public forum posts.
- Service providers we use to run the Game (hosting, database, auth, payments) process data on our behalf under their own security terms.
- Admins may access accounts and messages when investigating rule violations or support tickets.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to store small preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.
5. Data retention
- Account data is kept while your account is active.
- If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep records for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Seasonal gameplay data may be wiped between seasons as part of the Game.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
To make a request, use our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
7. Children
The Game is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure is provided by cloud providers that may store or process data in countries other than yours. We rely on their security and standard contractual protections.
9. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date and, when appropriate, notify you in-game.
