Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This page explains how Kingdoms uses cookies and similar browser storage (like localStorage). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a site can save in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar mechanism that stores data on your device. Both let a site remember things between visits.
2. What we use
Strictly necessary
- Auth session — stored in your browser (cookies and localStorage) so you stay signed in and your requests are authorized. Without this, the Game cannot work.
- Preferences — small settings like your last-viewed page or UI state.
- Cookie choice — a flag remembering that you dismissed the cookie banner.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels.
- No third-party analytics that profile you.
If this changes (for example, if we ever add optional analytics), we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
3. Third parties
Our hosting, database and authentication provider set the essential cookies described above on our behalf. Payment providers may set their own cookies during a checkout flow — their cookie notices apply on their pages.
4. Managing cookies
- You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time from your browser settings.
- Blocking the essential session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from playing.
